1st Planaco Annual Press Meeting 2010

Friday 26th March 2010 was a special day for Planaco SA, and this is because, for the first time in the 30 years history of the yacht yard, a simple everyday event turned to be a major annual practice for the years to come.

Journalists coming from all spectrums of the Greek boating sectors, as well as two local newspapers were invited to visit the yard in the island of Aegina. General Manager Captain Stelios Tsoukalas, aided by Sales & Marketing Director of Planaco SA Mr. Makis Matiatos, had the pleasure to introduce the guests on yard details, quality services offered, security and safety standards employed etc. Great emphasis was put on the philosophy and the vision of the “new era” shared among the principals and technical stuff, in developing Planaco into a state of the art “jewel”, a model yard in the area around Athens and the Saronic Gulf.

The introduction and the tour around the premises was followed by a Greek “meze” of fish delicacies and most agreeable refreshing ouzo at a typical local fish tavern, under the blue sky and pleasant atmosphere of the picturesque island of Aegina.

Our slogan claims that “we are not only efficient, but helpful too”, to which our journalists friends added up “…also lively and pleasant too”. Traditional Greek hospitality is always extended to Greeks and foreign visitors alike!
  
This event was just a small taste of what our guests will experience in the future. It can be described as a rehearsal, a prova generale, which will be repeating annually every May, and will be broadened to include other leading European boating magazines.
